Vera Zec, MSc. Arch. is a principal of Zec Consulting Inc. She has achieved over 20 years of practical experience in building envelope design, research and development activities, technology transfer, failure analysis, forensic investigations, on-site testing, inspection, and management as it applies to building science and cladding design.
Vera has developed skills and expertise in building envelope construction for various building types (i.e. museums, recreational buildings, hotels, hospitals, etc.).
Vera has been involved in extensive research for a variety of building envelope restoration options (i.e. Dynamic Buffer Zone System), and new cladding and roofing construction including pressure equalized rain screen system, rain penetration and condensation analysis, mold and mildew research, heat transfer and sealant technology.
